Corbofix procedure
Our advanced technology allows the conversion of waste materials into hydrogen, electricity and heat through an integrated thermochemical conversion process.
The process starts with the hydrolysis (liquefaction of waste) to produce a wide variety of ingredients for the pyrolysis. The liquefied waste is then processed in a high-temperature rotary tube to pyrolysis gas (PNXgas). This gas is then further processed to separate hydrogen, which can be used as a clean fuel. At the same time, the residual gas is converted into electricity and heat in a CHP plant.
If the waste materials contain phosphorus, it can be recovered.
